The Camden County Police Department community engagement team is hosting an open-gym basketball night at the Marjorie & Lewis Katz Clubhouse in Parkside on Friday, January 27th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. The initiative gives school-age kids a safe place to have fun on Friday nights, meet mentors, play basketball, and interact with their local police officers. The department also has resources on hand for mentoring and job information for interested teenagers. Refreshments are typically served during the event.
This event offers a warm gym, food, mentors and police officers who want to build bonds and play basketball.
