Camden's Promise Charter School is a collaborative
effort between the parents, students, teachers, community members,and
several non-profit groups. The purpose of Camden's Promise Charter
School is to provide Camden youths with a successful education
experience.
Camden's Promise focuses on the academic themes of Science, Math,
and Technology. Bringing the class to life with experimental learning
in these three areas is a major facet of the afternoon program
for every student. In addition the development of the youth leaders
of today and the adult leaders of tomorrow is a major educational
objective of Camden's Promise.
Students receive instruction in self-esteem, conflict resolution,
public speaking, and career awareness in their core curriculum.
Camden's Promise also boasts a strong parent involvement in every
facet of the school operation. Parents are involved on the Board,
the Parent Council and the Mentoring Program.
